Magic Mt 17/18 We Clean-Up Nice!!!
Missing out on Thursday still hurts, but the hill skied fantastically this weekend. Solo strike mission on Saturday yielded a surprising number of untouched turns in the woods. Brought my boys for their first Magic trip on Sunday and had my best ever at Magic - watching them ripping through the woods and hearing them yell “that was awesome - let’s do that again!” was as good as it gets. Props to the whole Magic crew - you guys earned and deserved the full lots this weekend.

Had a blast at Magic Saturday and hopefully y'all did well with the crowd that was there. Don't mind a little bit of a line when it feels like the day after thanksgiving with all the leftovers to be had. Had youngins (not mine) and a wife (mine) in tow, so couldn't get into as much as I would like, but still managed to find plenty of fun untracked snow. Also nice work with the BLT remod.
I'd be heading back up for more thursday night if I didn't have a trip to stowe lined up.

Went to Magic for the first time this Saturday, had an amazing time (even on my 70mm wide skis). Magic's only 2 hours from my place, don't know why I never came here before. Now I'm thinking of coming back Friday after this next storm.

Thought I had posted here but just realized it was in the ECRC. Man Thursday was epic, first run down Black Magic I could barely keep speed for the drops. Crazy story too, wonder if I went past that happening?
Great to finally meet DW, he is one hard working dude, think I saw him working most spots on the hill. Too bad we couldn't take a run or 2 but next time for sure.
Healing vibes to Dylan that works the top shack, board went under a fallen tree at knee level and got him good. Luckily patrol was right there but the extraction up the steep drop in from the Hallows was tough.
