Exactly why he should mount a tele binder in the rear.

There's this guy at Snowbowl with a monoski. He may be a regular, but I never noticed before. He also seems to be a big fan of the double pole touch. There's some pretty flat traverses at Snowbowl, but I guess he never skis anything off them?

There has been a little bit of trial and error but nothing I couldn't handle. I'll get the toe pieces bolted to the board, add some more epoxy, and maybe get some ptex on the bottom. Hoping to try it out tomorrow or sunday!

Ran into a slight problem with the head of the new screws being too tall for the toe piece to slide in. Ive been meaning to go pick up some new screws and haven't yet. Might do that today if I get a chance. School's been busy...

But all the wholes are drilled. I just have to put together the new screws and fill in the holes on the bottom of the board with epoxy and a ptex layer

Letting the epoxy set over night. I'm planning on testing it tomorrow night after a day of skiing

Current plan is to try to take it to a local sledding Hill to make a few turns in order to fix anything that might need to be tweaked and then take my death trap up to the bunny hill when I go to the ski mountain this weekend

Definitely a very flexible board. Will be headed up to the mountain tomorrow to try snowboarding for the first time ever so I might take the mono up for a test run

It's more like some old dude on a directional board was saying I had to try snowboarding a few times. Even if I didn't like it he claimed it would transfer to skiing.

Plus the idea of a directional powboard is so hot

As a snowboarder: why would you ever try snowboarding? Definitely don't try silly stuff like mono or tele skiing. Stick to skis, ski steeper and better shit.

Definitely won't be teleskiing. And tomorrow I'm going up with a few friends who all suck at snowboarding. I figured I'll try it so I'm not having to wait around forever. I'll still take my sticks for a few runs so I don't end up completely wasting my day 😂

It doesn’t matter what people do on the snow as long as they are having fun. Do you remember how much fun it was riding bunny hill without falling? Graduated to another lift? First time stomping that 1’ air? Or hot tubbing the landing in 3’ pow? You don’t have to keep seeking the steepest and deepest to have fun if/when you change your gear and friends.
