    This is TGR ; so who has skied a chugach spine

    Anyone? Tell me of it and include great details on this holiday eve. The chugach range, describe your spine skiing steeze

    2010. ABA. Thompson pass. Blue bird day. 12” of fresh pow. All time AK conditions. First time in AK and by far my best trip. Last three trips up had horrible conditions. One trip Dean Cummings was our guide. One run, he assessed the run, looked up at us and said, “boys, this is gonna suck. Just get down. “. Imagine him telling you that as you stare down 3000 ft of vertical in front of you of pure boiler plate.

    As for the spine in 2010, it’s was all time. Untouched. Slayed it top to bottom. One of my best runs to date. That day was all time for AK. Sadly never been able to get close to those conditions in AK in three additional trips. Some day....

    2014. Valdez. Barbie Coiler. Looks all time. 3-6” on top of boiler plate. Survival skiing. So bummed we could not let it rip.

    What a beauty of a line. The conditions you describe sound nasty though. Couldn't imagine hitting that in prime conditions.
