108 waist skis, which Pivot brake?

I’m looking to put a pair of Look Pivot 14s on a pair of 108 waist skis. Will the 95mm brakes fit with a little “spreading” or should I go with the 115mm brakes? I have the option to buy either size, but don’t want to oversize it.

    The 115.

I've had 115 Pivot 14s on a 108 waisted Cochise and they retracted back pretty well. "Spreading" is not a good idea - the brake is supposed to retract and spreading will interfere with that geometry and tend to catch more. That's why people end up re-bending them, but I've heard Pivots are not so easy to bend so just stick w 115.

    Agreed on the 115. Thanks!

I would say 95mm, but those or the 115 will work fine. I've actually hooked my skis together at the brake arms because there was too much overhang: it's frightening and has the potential to result in some carnage.

I ran 95mm Pivot brakes on a Praxis MVP, Blizzard Cochise and DPS Wailer 105 without having to bend them at all, they have enough "give" to function just fine as they are. I am putting Salomon Wardens on my Skinny Quixotes (108 underfoot), and am going with the 100mm brake, FWIW.

115 is absolutely the right size. the brakes can be bent inwards easier than outwards in my experience, but at 115 on a 108 no bending should be necessary.

I always go 115 on my 106-108 skis. Had a misshap once trying to bend 95 to a 106 ski. You wont even notice the extra 3.5mm on each side. Seriously look at how much 3.5mm is, it's nothing.
