    RIP Randy
Not the name I would of expected to see. My thoughts go out to his family, friends and partners on this tragic day. We all make mistakes and we all die someday.

Condolences. Sounds like he was quite a dedicated skier and volunteer. Hate reading about things like this.

skiing HP always scared the shit out of me.
step, complex terrain with easy access
even low-angle xc tours up archangel road
and independence mine take you through
    multiple run-out zones .....

    rest in peace Randy.
    you're the kind of
skier i always wanted to be,
    and never will

Sounds like a good man and sorry to any who knew him. Excellent write up and some good points to remember. The mountains don't care.
