    TR: Cow Funk

A little overnight fat-pack in the desert. We rode some sand and drank some whiskey

Started out with some dune cruising

Fine sand and dirty water, bearings love it!

I knew there was going to be water here...

...just didn't think it would look like chocolate milk. We let it settle for about 30 minutes or so and it actually filtered out clear. The Platy grav bag is pretty damn sweet. We sourced the rest of our water from the river which proved to be soooooo much better.

Overnight temps in the low 20's led to a late start and some chilly riding to start day 2

Those are chunks of ice...keeping the feet dry

    Some cool terrain

We climbed up to check out the alcove from the last pic

We didn't have a super strict route planned, found this trail on our way back and it was too cool to pass up

    Back to dune land

Freeride fatbikepacking is all the rage

    What's a gravity bag?

Is that bag where gravity finally applies?

    Also. That looks really fun.
Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp

Let mother nature pump your water! It's 2017 for crying out loud, no need to work hard for water filtration, science.

Nice! Missed the ice chunks the first time I saw the pics. Brrrr!
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air
