Man, those 192 AD LP105’s have become m daily drivers. Sooooo sweet and versatile. Saturday at the bird was a mix of refrozen junk that softened later. Killed it. Today was a wet pow over refrozen, totally unflappably. No regrets on the 192...

The Pro Riders are one of the best skis evar. It's such a versatile ski. They have edge hold for days and are unflappable at speed. Refrozen garbage, dust on crust, spring corn, they can handle it all. With enough speed they even float pretty well, granted in soft conditions with 4"+ of fresh snow I usually have something else on my feet.

I've spent the last two days in the Wasatch (Deer Valley and Alta). At Deer Valley yesterday with 6-8" of dense fresh over a refrozen base I was on different pair of skis (GPOs) and they did fine but the PRs would have killed it in those conditions. The perfect ski in those conditions would have been the OG Bodacious. The added flotation from the width of the Bodes along with their tail rocker would have been the ticket the in the trees.

At Alta today, I wished I had the Pro Riders on my feet. I was riding my Super Goats. Under Supreme most of the fresh snow over the past 24 hours had been blown off and the conditions were variable. Icy moguls on the SGs aren't my favorite thing in the world to ski. I found better snow in the Wildcat zone. The PRs would've been the perfect skis for the job at hand today.

Barring an unexpected 12"+ dump of fresh tonight, I know what skis are going to be on my feet at the Bird tomorrow. I'll give you a hint...

Contact 09 and "Fluid PX12" Bindings

I am trying to find new heels for my Dynastar "Fluid PX12" bindings purchased on demo skiis in 2008 or a replacement ski. I really love these skiis when snow is firm to icy.

    Any suggestions other than eBay?

PS I can't figure out how to attach photos.

    Post keeps disappearing. Strange.

I'm wondering about mount point for mythic 97.

    Spring/firm touring setup
I prefer more forward leaning, carve focused style.

I was also wondering why the ski calls for a 4.1 bit, but presumably has no metal?

4.1 bit, it has a metal mount plate under the mounting zone. Go -1 if you like to drive the tips. Been skiing a Mythic for 5 years now as my spring corn/long day setup, use it with a Scarpa F1. Long days in the eastern Sierra, it destroys steep corn!

186-cm LP’s in pretty dang good condition. Will require a remount. Maybe they get demos so I can share the joy of pre-rocker crud munchers.

I have that exact ski for sale. 1 mount. Check Gear Swap. I'm also selling Mrs. comish's old pair of 176cm same generation.

Wait, so you're telling me the Supergoats don't make for great bump skis? (sarcasm)

Anyone know if the LP105 that’s coming back next year is the “real” deal version? Considering ordering a pair from my shop as a show of support (+I want one now) and saw it was listed on the Dynastar website at 2400 grams/ski.

Edit: just saw the gear swap post, too good a deal to pass up.

Thanks but those will require drilling. I was looking for adjustable demo heels which seem to be called "Fluid"

Nice review by Ski Essentials on the MFree 108. Really looking forward to trying this one next season.

You can also buy them now for $566 USD at Corbetts

So...thinking about giving the m-free lineup a go this season.
Am I reading right that last year’s “menace proto f-team” is the exact same ski as the new 118, just a different name and top sheet?

Correct and deals to be had on last years Menace Pro still.

Corbetts still has stock and price in Canadian $

    https://www.corbetts.com/2020-dynastar-menace-proto-f-team-skis/

The MFree 108 is new and tried both the 182cm(what Blistergear and SkiEssentials demoed) and the 192cm. The 182cm is quite fun and surfy but the 192cm goes up quite a few notches in stability and dampness. If they made a 186-188cm that was a closer to the 192cm in feel, I’d get a pair.
