You're obsessed with those long T's, KQ. No whale tail from this mag.

They are awfully nice work shirts! Bummer the women's aren't on sale.

    YES there are.

First question is which series of Lenovo did you get (Thinkpad or??)? Of course there will be some loss leaders in most electronics but as with all things this time of the year, do you want to stand in line or camp out at one of the Big Box stores or maybe just wait until Cyber Monday or get an early bird online order as early as Thursday. There are SO many discussions on what the ads will be on shopping sites- one site has 257 laptop deals listed across all the various stores so which one do you think is best is going to be very dependent on specs including screen size, consumer models (cheap) vs higher end business class, stores in your area vs online at sites like Dell, HP, Lenovo, or other on line retailers only, etc. So if it Black Friday deals this thread is just going to be a on page 50 or so of Black Friday and Holiday shopping deals search engines.

Poke around this great deal site. They've had a lot of BF ads posted before the stores actually released them. One of the threads lists all of the deals by category.

imho: Living in snow for great majority of year, I would go with Sorel boots. They seem to keep me from slip and falls vs other brands. The ones I owned the longest were the style called "Conquest"

Here's a list of laptops on sale for BF. This site is just users posting deals, many knowledgeable people and a few poseurs also.

I’m also ordering Sorel Caribou Wool Boot and let him pick and choose.
I love my Sorel Caribou, but they are pretty stiff around ankles and I don’t know how boyfriend would feel about that.
Now, if he likes and wants both...

Not really a snow boot but I picked up a pair of these (womens version) last year for working around the farm during the winter and boy did I make the right decision! Fantastic boot! I prefer a pull on with no laces to get muck/snow/etc. stuck in and to avoid water intrusion. My feet were warm and dry through one of the worst winters in decades. Got them on a Black Friday sale too which made them even nicer. I will say that even after last winter's brutal weather and everyday use for three months they still look great.
