Rape and sexual harassment[edit]
McElroy believes that crime data about rape are extremely inaccurate and that rape culture is a false narrative created by "politically-correct" feminists.[2][3] She is the author of a book called "Rape Culture Hysteria" in which she contends that rape culture is a result of popular hysteria to the disadvantage of men, and in particular, white men. [4]
She has criticized sexual harassment policies and in particular grade-school zero-tolerance policies - which she considers to be "far too broad and vague" and based on biased reports.[5]
Capitalism and government[edit]
In explaining her position in regard to capitalism, McElroy says she has a "marked personal preference for capitalism as the most productive, fair and sensible economic system on the face of the earth," but recognizes that the free market also enables other economic systems.[6] She says what she wants for society is "not necessarily a capitalistic arrangement but a free market system in which everyone can make the peaceful choices they wish with their own bodies and labor", and therefore describes herself as a supporter of free market economics.[6]
She credits Murray Rothbard's book Man, Economy, and State: A Treatise on Economic Principles (1962) as being "solely responsible for turning [her] from the advocacy of limited government to a lifetime of work within the individualist-anarchist tradition."[7]

It's a matter of what kind of world you want to live in.
Do you want women to feel comfortable and safe? Do you want to be trusted?
Or do you want women to be suspicious and on guard?
I would assume most men would like to be able to take photos of or have photos sent to them by the women they are intimate with.
So, stop sharing them, and stand up against those that do.
It goes for everything.
Sure, there are always ways bad things could have been avoided, but it usually comes down to trust.
A "victim" trusted the wrong person.
Do you want women to trust anyone? You?
What's pretty fucked up us that many women, myself included don't report their assault because they do not want to be "victims" because of all the negative things associated with being a victim.
So I kinda hate when people use victim in a negative way. If you are assaulted you are a victim. Your assailant chose that, not you.
Not meaning to argue with you Aaron, I quoted you to continue the conversation.

Thats how you negotiate agreements. One says how about this, and the other says, ok but or ok and and you go back and forth until an agreement is reached.
You know this.
I said I was ok with that as long as it was obvious the person in the picture knew they were participating.. ie, looking at the camera or physically holding the sign, and I stated my concern about photoshop.

Ok, let's say that the Ullr thread is taken down. What's to prevent a person who takes photos of women (who may have consented to the photo but not of its posting on the internet) from posting it in the "regular" NSFW thread? He's no longer taking credit for the photo, he's treating it like amateur porn and posting it as such. The harm done is still the same, but by the parameters you and others are trying to lay out it's ok, because it looks like "consented to" porn. Is there any way to prevent that?
The point is, you're starting from the point of view, and assumption, that we're all assholes and have no sense of decency, and it's up to us to prove that assumption wrong. And then you say "but porn is ok!" No, it's not, it's not workable, if the assumption you start from is that we're all assholes and have no sense of decency.
And, bizarrely, you don't address one issue that must be causing you some cognitive dissonance: if one of us is an asshole and has no sense of decency, and has nude pictures taken without consent that he wishes to share with the world, not a damn thing you do on TGR is going to stop that. Might even make it worse, if he seeks out other (worse) sites to post it on because he can't post it here. The only thing that is going to stop it is if we're not actually assholes."fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ

Actually, many here want to like you, and have tried really hard to do so. But you voluntarily come to this site and repeatedly attack it and the people in it, and when you're not in your "woe is me" phase you are really harsh and judgmental of others. You purport to speak for all women and yet repeatedly attack KQ when she disagrees with you. You make it very easy for people to choose to hate you, and you make it very hard for people to choose to like you. But feel free to play the victim, I know it is something you are really good at. Heck, you've certainly got a lot of people here convinced that you are in this debate, so it is kinda working for you.

First, the only people I assume are assholes are the ones that tell me to suck a dick and die and other pretty horrible things.
And no, I do not think ALL the photos are non consensual, but I do think the one in question of Booners is. I also think it matters a lot what the picture looks to be. Booner hasn't commented on that picture since the wink wink nudge nudge over it. He's not claiming it's consensual. His last comment said details aren't important.
Some pictures... your fisting set, for example, are obviously professional.
If pictures can be traced back to a legitimate porn producer, than the burden of consent is on the producer.
As for sharing the pictures elsewhere, that's not our problem. We (the posters here, the mods, and ultimately the TGR overlords) can only control ourselves.
Things in society change because people demand it. It isn't always easy or comfortable.
Revenge porn, posting non consensual nude photos, whatever you want to call it is fucked up.
It's my opinion that having that not happen is more important than having porn on a ski website.
I get it that a lot of you don't like me and want to keep your pictures.
I'm sorry I'm making you uncomfortable. I've been told TGR will make a decision soon.
