$3M with how many freight trains per day running literally thru your front yard?

^ A pipe organ in a residence, not something you see very often.

Seems very cheap, but I suppose it is quite isolated. Big Sur is amazing. I think I could handle the isolation.

I had the same thought...main house+guest house on 40 acres in Big Sur for $2.1M? Seems like a steal

Yea, seems crazy. My wife’s family was friends with the artist and builder, and he built it all himself apparently. I think it both needs work and will be very difficult to work on. Still seems cheap.

I feel like you belong in that house. And Big Sur would probably suit you.

Well once the earthquake pulls it most of the way into the ocean, and global warming finishes it off, it won’t appreciate much.

It's cheap because how many people play the organ?
I can play Louie Louie but that's about it.

Exactly. Looks like a tear down to me. Overgrown hippie shack. Hopefully they cart out all of the new age clutter.

I want one of these 600 sqft condos that have a deep water dock out back.

40 acres, with 2 acres of flat ground. The rest is probably straight up and down. Hippie built house with funky electrical and plumbing and a billion termites. Which is all fixable. What isn't fixable is the neighbors constantly up in your shit.

Where we lived in the Santa Cruz mountains, a place nearby had a pipe organ in a small chapel on the property. 40 ranks, it sounded fucking awesome. We had an annual Christmas carol sing along and there was no way to sound bad with a pipe organ blasting behind you.

And keep your boat in the water in Florida? The bottom growth has to be luxurious. Lifts must not be allowed. Pass.

    cool homes

To be fair, if you can afford the spot, paying someone to give your boat a brazilian is likely a footnote on the property maintenance

That Big Sur place is kinda calling me though. I need something to keep me busy in my dotage. The beach shack idea for here has run into environmental hurdles that would take years and a fortune to get past. Plus we already have a cousin to that statue in the first pic, it belongs there. Bandini, what do you mean about the neighbors? Meth heads? Hippies? Yuppies? Republicans???
