That's from June. Need to get some landscaping but neighbor still has a ton of site work to do so he will mangle anything I do to right of house.

Awesome. I know you said but I'm blanking on where it is.

Man you're still in the "fuck there's a scratch on my floor!!!" stage at this point. It passes.

Is #7 the pink castle dungeon room from the set of True Detective?

I think #1 wins purely based on the level of existential danger.

Quick glance: looks beautiful. But I've never seen Utah considered as the midwest, must be a Euro author, ah.

    Geez doesn't it though.

Real estate's probably cheaper in Greenland, for now.

That Greenland stoke looks a bit like Lofoten. I would love to live there, but wifey says no way!

well, that's because more and more of Greenland becomes buildable, with each passing year!

there's a metal grid walk surface above that apparent gap
you're seeing though the diagonal framing in the base

I like the clean look, but no roof overhangs? Not gonna last.

I love overhangs for a number of reasons having to do with passive solar and water management but not because they'll make the house last longer, because wtf? No.

I definitely woulda put metal roofs on those pads though.

Great thread, just stumbled on it. The Iceman houses are very nice but a little big. This is my current favourite house. Lots of space for a couple and their stuff. Were I to have it built, would likely change the roofline to something a bit more conventional, and go from there. Nice place if you have a view:
