Old man action at its finest. Phenomenal uncrowded sneaker day. Rare to get 12 out of a forecasted 3.

Anyone make it to Hyak today? AWD and new snow tires have not been all that crucial for sitting at exit 47 while we wait for WSDOT to bulldoze the carnage up at the pass.

He's gotten really soft, selling all his cool guy charger skis for some floppy dentist Salomons.

Did eventually make it up there, got three laps in before we had to go back to work. Apparently three EB closures between 7:30 and 11:30.

It was blower up high, extremely heavy down low. Popped a few pockets of 3-8" wind slab. Looked like a couple of snurfers were booting up the skin track when we left; someone needs to make a split snurf.

I found a lot of crust this morning, not so much by afternoon.

Silver was serious deep mashed potatoes early afternoon. Kiddo got his first taste of true Northwest pow.

How schmoo is snoqualmie after the warm day today? I only have time for a summit drive and am debating touring or XC skiing if the snow is crap.

Nuh uh, this is not fake news! Baker's actually reporting 117" (and raining) at the top of Pan Dome right now on their very accurate, always truthy snow report. I'm sure GywnWAC will adjust that in the morning

You just can't accept that we're #1 right now during this shithole of a season
