    I don't doubt his data for a 100th of a second.

    You mean mofro's kid, right?

A pnw speedtrap day could be fun, we should get endless to visit from UT.

But yeah one of the fastest I've been lucky enough to try and follow anywhere

I would rather do it on Regulator Johnson at the Bird.
Holyf00k can you pick up speed on that pitch.

It would be fun to have speed runs on the Super G course at Mission, provided they had the nets up. Top of Windy Ridge down Skookum to Mimi. As 2FUNKY can attest even a minor fall with the snow like it is right now at Mission could be life altering. With the proper skis the skiing on the groomed runs is ridiculously fun right now.

It’s all good as long as you can shut it down for the turn at the bottom.

Upper primrose on the other hand, is very conducive to letting it run.

My run down Mimi this morning was super fun. Very fast and some nice floating air off the rollers skiers left. Word is the surface conditions have improved noticeably since Sunday. Skookum was real fun first thing as well.

And don't let the roller put you in the air too much...

I was thinking satellite event rather than replacing the snowbird event

Hyak Face when it's groomed could probably deliver some high-speed runs. And DH-esque airtime. Safety netting is the hoard of sledders at the bottom.

It would have BITD, pre land slide.
Now, there's a little too much terrain in the terrain midway down.

Glad you are on the mend. When I peeled off from the group at the top of chair 3 it was to help load a racer on the course who had gone down hard. The race course was super slick, incredibly more so than all the other runs we skied.

If it ain't gonna snow might as well soften up a little at the windy hill. Sounds like we are getting there

If Jack has his way this spring, there might be a golden opportunity down Schlucht w/ a high-marking contest up the other side of E-Bowl, too...

I'm glad that no matter where, the consensus is no where at the northern dead end.

Helen Keller could do a better job than some of the current staff.

Aside from maybe the Canyon, I can't think of anything steep that gets groomed regularly at your cul-de-sac...

Had a throwback day at Stevens - got to the mountain at 8:50 am, parked 2 rows back from the stairs, 8" new snow in the lot, 0 lift line at 9:05, boot top dry powder over a firm base, knee deep if you found where the wind blew it. Skied hard all morning and bailed at 1 pm when work started to sound more important than powder. Low angle and a light touch was the name of the game... steeps aren't holding the snow. 2 laps out in a low angle zone rewarded face shots and the floatiest turns of the day..

Can confirm; upper Big Chief lift line is a disaster, lower Big Chief lift line is faceshots (was at 5pm anyway). Park is back to its usual (slow) speed, but the knuckles are soft. Knees decided it was time for hot chocolate.

A friend invited me to ride Mt Baker this weekend. Is it worth it for this storm? I have been starved for pow in Tahoe.

I'd ski Stevens or Alpental, this storm track is not going to favor Mt. Baker nearly as much.

Heading to Crystal this weekend. Any advice about good spots to hit earlier/later in the day? How stable has the snow back been on steeper aspects?
