    Trust me.
Anybody have beta on the north & east sides? Fryingpan? Carbon river approach? I too am needing to check off august but can't stomach any more timberline. Also, up at Cold Springs for the meteor shower, Adams no longer looks to be continuous on any route off Pikers. Gettin' despie, and I too am dreading September (And likely October, for that matter)

    Middle of August.

A whole series of record hot months, near if not record drought... smoke both Canadian and local* and another warm week forecast..

    You don't really need Beta.

Yep it's nasty right down into Seattle again today.

Supposed to be some clearing tonight and tomorrow.

Not as bad as at it's worst last summer but otherwise as bad as I've seen it in Puget Sound. From a high rise at north end of downtown I can barely make out the U District and West Seattle is fading out. Actually seems to have got worse in the past few hours.

Was crazy how it rolled in yesterday. I was outside earlier in the day with just normal haze, was inside for a few hours, took the trash out around 7 or 8 and it was sitting on top of us. At least it isnt like that real bad week last year with all ash raining down.

Not moved yet, but a couple months out from moving. Getting our place in VA ready to sell and working through job details for the relocation now. I've skied a bit in the PNW - Crystal, Hood, Baker. I've spent most of my time at Meadows while visiting family in HR. Looking forward to exploring more of the PNW this winter!

190 banana Wailer 112s spotted at Ballard Goodwill for $150 if someone wants them. 2 mounts, looks like inserts for peak/mojo and open Duke holes

Kinda interesting that snoqualmie offered a steep discount on the Mountain collective pass this year, but is technically on the Ikon pass i guess?

Hopefully, they get an even bigger umbrella with all the increased revenue.

They'll have enough new revenue that they won't have to accidentally avalanche their chairlifts to get them upgraded.

I hope they do that again. The MC is a better fit for me and my travel patterns. Now if they get rid of Alpy night skiing, I'll likely switch to Ikon.

    Lightning start?

Hope it burns north and cleans out the brush in Henry creek. Would make the approach much nicer on a low tide year.

But will they have enough employees to operate them? You're gonna be seeing a lot of new faces bumping chairs this season...

There are plenty of locally owned resorts, the profitable ones keep changing ownership
