No worries dude, it was a last-minute invite. I enjoy solo mountain time anyway. Left the car at 0730.

FYI it’s about a 25 yard walk to get to snow at the hairpin at WA Pass, it’s going fast, but the corn has been great.

Skied off the summit of Adams with glademaster on Saturday.

We found continuous snow after about a mile of dirt. Climbing conditions were ideal and we comfortably skinned to the summit. There was a thin lenticular cap over the top ~400' that was fascinating to watch, yet held the prime views for another time.

SW Chutes held perfect high-speed smooth sunny corn around 1pm. FKNA, what a ski run. Felt great to return to this fave.

    Here are some pics

Stellar day on Saturday with great conditions for the ascent and descent. The only slight hiccup was undershooting on water, but man, what a fantastic experience.

Because here's no other reason they'd raise prices being a for profit business... booming local economy, huge population growth, competitor areas suffering from (more) overcrowding problems, increased energy costs etc.....

The 'conservationists' in this area fail to see and account for the value of the infrastructure that preservationists and capitalists installed. Rather than bolstering a local multi-use recreation destination, and after failing to take on the actual land managers, they take on the land lessees to get their point across. If they actually wanted to do something useful with their time and care about native fish populations in the White River, they would take on the clusterfuck that is mud mountain dam and maybe spend their money in a constructive fashion. Rather than putting it towards lawyers fees, they could have offered grant money for more trucking of fish around the dam, or maybe even put it towards fish passage projects in the area.

The whole things fucked, I need to move to Canada.

I'm not too familiar with Mud Mountain dam but I believe it's trapping system is in the midst of a giant rebuild.
