"at least" mid June is really late for Chinook.

But I'm glad they're fixing that section of road at last.

Bummer that the Sunrise Road won't open until early-July.

I asked WSDOT via Twitter about access to Chinook Pass via the east and was told, "Chinook Pass will remain closed from the east side as well."

I don't know the area at all, but if I want to ski Adams in late May, how's the access?

    Thank you.

Looking for some PNW beta.....I'm coming out for work to the Anacortes area in mid-June. Thinking of bringing the skis and doing some day trip easy touring up near Baker. What do you think - worth the effort? Looking to get outside, mellow adventure, enjoy the PNW mountains...

Its a longshot ...not sure where else to post this, but if anyone here in TGR-land lost a ski near the top of Middle Ferks at Crystal Mtn... I found it on Sunday melting out of the snowpack when I was there skinning laps in the resort. Guest services at the base has the ski - they said no one had reported it missing, but figured I'd at least post something here.

Small plane crash in East Bowl of Mt. Angeles, Olympics. Pilot recovered with minor injuries. Anyone want to ski up there and plunder the wreck? 😎
