Ugh, I hate seeing every other resort open than sno. I'm too poor to afford tickets to anywhere else, so I'm impatiently waiting for a little bit more base. I'll just have to skin up west like a slug again tomorrow morning.

Toured under 2 today. Good coverage on upper mountain. Though 4" that slabs out anywhere steep enough. I don't think snoq has enough to make it through what's coming after the weekend

Wish I knew how to post pictures... Baker was amazing today, no crowds, tons of snow. Best first day I’ve had in years.

Somehow nobody thought to ski the right side of Nash. Probably because of that early-season waterfall above the entrance to Adrenalin. I almost flushed over that. At dusk. Good thing I had that headlamp...

Crystal was real good. Got some of the first lift-served tracks in Silver Basin this year.
The strongest opener I've seen. On the other hand I've never hit so many rocks as I did on the Chair 6 traverse, felt like I was back in Big Sky.
Lookin' pretty warm and wet next week.that's all i can think of, but i'm sure there's something else...

Beautiful. Interesting how so many people have only one turn shape/radius.
My tracks would look drastically different and varied.

I get that. Its not just this shot. More of an observation in total. I'd be bored after a lap and it can be slow going. Rather opening it up, get a 40m and slide some. Hard to argue these multiple people when given open area only utilized one turn shape. Guess I'm saying freeride approach vs old school. I couldn't see that happening at Stevens for example. I see people attacking (the best lines) around there.

It's because you're the most amazing skier ever. Most people that know how to turn are gapers and wear arc teryx

This knuckledragger's turning radius is often 0... Powder 1s are so fun

Beautiful day for a tour yesterday. Whiteout conditions up to about 4000' gave way to bluebird and some amazing light in great Scott bowl. Cut trail and pretty sure i got first tracks of the season in there. Great to be back in snow this early. Conditions were medium density consolidated stable ~35" deep at 5000' becoming heavy and compact down low. Welcome back old man winter
