I don't know. I'm in Arabba. None of the Sella Ronde is open, although I saw one chair turning. They sure are ready, though. One good storm....
Jezuz, this place is gorgeous. It's like Ouray on steroids.
Too early to ski, too late to hike/bike.

I think the thread closure was another fat finger error.

Takes something special to make a native Coloradan say something like that.

    Killer pictures.

I was lucky enough to be in that part of Italy in late September with the wife. After a few days in Florence, we took a train to Bologna to stay for a night. It was a cool city, but the foodie deal is more of my wife's thing. We rented a car in Bologna and then drove up to Cortina to do some hiking/via ferrataing. We drove the Great Dolomite Road (or whatever they call it) and then spent a day in Bolzano which is an amazing medium sized town. From there we to Lake Garda and spent a few days exploring the eastern shore before heading back to Milan. Lake Garda also far surpassed expectations. I did not realize what a mountain biking hub it is, but after researching it I would love to go back just for that purpose.

From what I understand they have a big MTB festival there ever year.

Yeah, as soon as you get into the mountains the language changes. It's German, but, a funny German. It's actually been easier finding English speakers, though.

Check out this MTB event called the Hero. It goes around the Sella Ronda. My buddy's done it now 4x. His time was about 9 hours.
