Its very contagious but not obviously guaranteed. They consider “close contact” to be over two hours. And the average person might infect 2.3 other people (best number I’ve seen-not gospel.) most of this close contact and transmission happens at home and at work, so brief casual contact isn’t super likely (although possible) to transmit the disease.
