2017/2018 Jackson Hole/Targhee/Tetons thread
Any local mags know if Teton Valley Cabins (on the way up to Targhee) are under new ownership or anything strange going on?
Have stayed there before to ski at GT....and was fine for just sleeping.
My buddy just called for a couple of cabins for our trip in February...and he said he talked with someone who barely spoke any English...and he said it was an odd “booking” so to speak.
Just wondering if anyone had any info....thx

2017/2018 Jackson Hole/Targhee/Tetons thread
Yeah my buddies son has worked at GT the past few winters....so we visit every year and stay at TVC....79 bucks a night.
We’ve always liked it..cheap, clean, very convenient to GT...just sleeping/passing out there anyhow.
He said the person he talked to was hard to understand (like when you order Chinese food?).....so was wondering if it had new owners. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)
Just curious.

I don't think so, some of the staff are less fluent in English but do fine. That being said I haven't been over for a year or so

Does anyone know if the Targhee Express bus is still running for the 2018/2019 season? Will be staying in Teton Village for a week and would like to grab a day over at Targhee if possible but won't have a car. All the Google results for the bus info on GH's website just go to the main page and can't find any mention of it.

They stop each morning at a few hotels in town. Among the pick up locations is the Antler and 49er, both on Pearl Street. Thr front desks should know about the shuttle/bus.

Thanks.. I didn't notice this morning the Alltrans link. Was just going to the ones on Grand Targhee's website which all seem to be non-existent now. Looking forward to finally experiencing Tetons in the winter!
