My ofc is a stone's throw away, so I wd eat there several times a wk but so far just been once. I'll give it a little more time to get the kinks out but so far it's just ok

    First choice Trio, second Local.

Also, cheapest drinks in town = Elks Club. You won't meet women and it's just us old dudes, but going deep there isn't expensive. Will be camped there for WS games.

The best meal I have had in the area recently was Forage over in Driggs. They are straight killing it. It blew away even the last meal I had at SRG (which was surprisingly mediocre actually, both service and food, but I think they just had a bad day).

Can't really get that tuned up though without a place to crash and it wasn't any cheaper than SRG either really so maybe save it for date night or something.

Gunbarrel do any two for ones? I've been hankering.

As an even cheaper bastard, i'd do the birthday bash at 5:03pm at the White Buffalo Club. Good Rusty Nail, awesome burger/fries and a bottle of Bud for $16.

You have to know a member at the Elks or just claim one after you start drinking?

They also have burger and a beer at Local @ $10 for some day drinking. You have to ask for it though.

I joined since that's were my old, married friends hang out, and it's super cheap to drink. Although I won the shake a day last year and they pressure you to donate winnings back to the club in the form of buying rounds for everyone until the winnings are gone.

The new Jackson Drug has a decent happy hour menu. They also have a $65 3-pound burger that is free if you finish it in an hour.

Last time I went to Blue Lion for a roommates birthday, it was good, but not worth the rice/beans/ramen I ate the next month. I’d rather go to Local twice, or Street Food at Stagecoach 10 times. Just my $0.02

Teton Tiger! but not sure if they have offseason deals
we also ate at Osteria last night and I love that place - esp w/ off season but prob not much of a novelty since you live in the vill

also 2nd Local bc if you go at happy hour you double the fun with 2 for 1 drinks in addition to 2 for 1 din too

also I'm going to start living like there's no tmrw. dinner out every night!
Even as most experts continue their reassurances Yellowstone is not going to blow anytime soon, a new report out this week raises the threat level for the ‘big one’ to “high.”

I think Stagecoach (shrimp tacos) and the Calico (bar menu) ended up being my favorite dining spots during my seasons in the hole. Then there’s the slice of pizza and shifty beer deal at Nick Wilson’s I could never resist.
