It's time to swear off slopes that are about 30 degrees or steeper for the rest of the season.

I used to use Sheep Creek as one of my data snowpit sites back when I worked for CAIC. While once approaching the bowl to digging my study pit I set off the whole bowl. I was tied in with a rope back to a tree, so I didn't get pulled into the avalanche. I was also on the body recovery effort on the April 20, 2013 accident. Sheep Creek is a very bad place, with lots of wind loading on perfect 30+ terrain.
