Nice! Wife and I bought our first in April. Found a leaky basement that the previous owner covered up. Fucker.

The upside is that I remodeled it into rad whiskey den with a fireplace, so that's good.

    Welcome to home ownership.

That is the view from my property looking east. I wasn't quite to the top of the hill - had to take it fast as the light was fading.

    Modern Antenna TV in HD

It's not the old days. I have 3 or 4 channels that show old movies.
I just finished watching Red River on Charge. CH 11-1
On my 55 inch 4 K TV I am pretty sure it looked better than in the theaters when it came out.
    What a simple pleasure.

In the recliner in front of the fire watching great movies over the public air waves

I think over the air HD is actually better than cable because it isn’t as compressed.

Friends with appropriate skills that will trade expertly patched sheetrock for your mounting his skis and an old pair of BD kneepads.

I could never do a decent job of patching drywall.

Hearing the snowplow on the road and watching it out the window. We used to run to the window when we were kids...hoping to see it curling up over the plow and anticipating the snow day. When the town brought out the 4x4 Oshkosh plow with the really loud exhaust it was almost guaranteed.

Finally had the plows out this morning in the canyon.

    Postoffice packing tape.
Smooth to use and tough as nail.
    Can’t get enough of them.
If someone buys me a year supply for Christmas, I’ll be happy.
