That and biking are pretty much the only two prohibited activities.
(Except for the three events each summer when biking up is allowed. Don't think they ever have a hitchhiking event though...)

600 vert is actually an upgrade from the hill I skied at most this season! I'd like to get to Killington, but MSS is an easy day trip for me and Killington isn't.

    Monday 21: MSS
    Friday 25: Killington
    Saturday 26: MSS
    Sunday 27: MSS
    Monday 28: Killington

    You're welcome. Anyhow here's this week's list:

Beautiful drive up the autoroad, no one in front so could wind on the mt6. Lowkey small crowd. Jackstraw and Jonathan were part of the shenanigans. Sun and Smiles kind of day

Hey I am planning a run of the prezi traverse in a day soon (in a couple weeks). is there still snow on the crawford path headed down off the summit? thanks. skiing looks great! do you know if they prohibit hitching down? say if someone in my group bails at the summit, or better to just wander the lot asking people for a lift down?

Awesome! I was hoping to head out this weekend but the weather canceled that plan. Hopefully Memorial Day weekend shapes up a bit better.

Officially prohibited, with a very prominent warning sign at the base of the road.
    However:
    • You might get lucky (as you proposed) approaching sympathetic motorists in the summit parking lot about to drive down.
    • Starting on May 26 the vans will be running, and you can buy a one-way down ride if an empty seat is available.
    • Walking down the road is permitted (although undoubtedly unpleasant, given the two-way traffic on a relatively narrow road).

I’m sure you could find a sympathetic skier if you walk down to the snowfields/ Airplane lots if slackfest is still going on. They would also be more likely to tolerate hotboxing.

Was my last day for this ski year. Entrance up top was steep and firm. Sit down climb went as planned. Well the rock I toppled just after the second photo was not as planned.

^^I plan to go tomorrow. Hope it's not my last day on skis for the season. Going tuna fishing this weekend and would love to be eating seared fresh tuna on Memorial day in between lift-served laps.

Very fresh, and they added some salt which helped stiffen things. Don’t worry goniff, according to Mtn ops they’ll work it hard to slay open for Memorial Day, and are questionable for June 1, still a solid 4 foot base.

Yesterday. Didn’t ski, it didn’t clear up until late afternoon and the snow felt pretty firm. Probably would have been fine but we didn’t see any other skiers/beta.

Probably a good call. There is ice and looked like one choke needed a downclimb couple days ago. Not much forgiveness outside the top

EAST COAST ROLL CALL - Turn it up to 11

Thanks for letting me know, Cat. I’ve only skied it once and it was in prime condition.

Just so I’m sure - you’re talking about the classic approach, right?

I saw what line you skied - wow! That’s the alternative, skiers right approach, right? Thanks but no thanks. I think it’s called space man? Or turkey shoot? Can’t find my book.
