12Z is 12 noon in Zulu time, which is the same as GMT.

    We need permanent daylight savings.
Gov. Scott is working on it.

    http://www.thewinooski.com/index.php...minutes-ahead/

MONTPELIER – While most of the rest of the country sets its clocks forward one hour tonight, the state of Vermont will experiment with setting its time ahead by one hour and six minutes. In a bold move that the Governor claims will “increase daylight savings up to ten percent,” this will put the state out of sync with the rest of the world.

EAST COAST ROLL CALL - Turn it up to 11

5:30 am phone call to relay that school is canceled and I already took Thursday off. I’ve got 2 days of stupid deep VT pow skiing ahead of me. Just need to decide on Sugarbush north or south.

Too excited to sleep, I need coffee.

You're from Montreal? Careful. L_derry is on the Poppy Highway, the heroin conduit between Montreal and NYC. It's how the pizza guy in Bondville used to run his stuff. The cops look for Qc plates.

I couldn’t blow work off, just didn’t feel right. I hate being responsible.
Long lunch at Killington if anyone’s around. I’ll be there at 10:30.

20" overnight at Shawnee made for some epic night skiing. Mostly powder bumps but any edge that was set resulted in overhead explosions of POW. butter that biscuit!

RUTLAND - The former owner of Tony's New York Style Pizzeria in Bondville, Marco Antonio Lam Peralta, 42, of South Londonderry, also known as Tony Lam, has additional charges to face.

In mid-March, Lam Peralta was arrested following an investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations, which, in early October 2015, seized in Miami a shipment from Guatemala containing more than 40 kilograms of heroin. The shipment was destined for an address in Manchester Center and on Oct. 8, 2015, police arrested Mejia Paredes after he took delivery of the shipment. HSI was assisted in its investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Vermont State Police, and the United States Border Patrol.

Yeah, the Philly area sucks skiing-wise. You can probably find some fun stuff to do in Philly. The Black Cat Tavern on 12th has a good craft beer selection and great perogies.

If you're into history, in the category of "Hmm, I did not know that," I've been told Pennsylvania is spelled Pensylvania on the Liberty Bell.

With all of the school cancellations I would expect above average traffic at the resorts today. Still much less than weekend/holiday traffic though.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
