I'll be skiing at the 24 hours of Stratton this year with a group from Magic Mtn. We are trying to help reduce childhood hunger and poverty in Vermont. Please help and donate anything you can. $1, $5, $10...every little bit helps. So far I have raise $0 and need all the help I can get. Thank you!

Did 24 hours of keystone bunch of years back before they cancelled it. It's fun, but watch out for late night drunks.

I don't see the point of involving so much risk for an event to raise money for a good cause. Just thinking back to the 100k wildcat challenge for march of dimes? and the death that occured...RIP. Granted that was an anomaly since it happened so early in the day, but there is risk in cramming so much into a short period of time or pushing oneself when exhausted. Goes against all protocol in my ski world.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Pat's peak was fun! Attempted to skin some laps at McIntyre this morning, was met by a very very pissed off cat driver... Needless to say they are not into uphill travel.

Anyone been out in Underhill? How's the coverage?

The snow is very kind for what is still a bit low tide. Been skiing below 2000 ft on a foot plus of snow and am off the deck even on steeps. Snowing again. Love these patterns.

I was joking about the whippet. I only use it in the bc. And it is a team event. I also just ran the NYC marathon. So I'm in pretty good shape overall.

Oh, I knew you were joking. And from your history in here I know you're a strong skier. Its good that it's a team event. I just have a friend who is also a strong skier and he's done the wildcat one a couple times. He admits it can be pretty dangerous and he's said getting cought up in the competition of it can have consequences...if you're not a-gaming it. Enjoy it and good luck!

I'm sure he'll get over it. Good for you for getting in some uphill travel.

No. He refuses to post in this thread because someone other than him started it. It seems he takes his virtual presence on Tits-on-gravity seriously.

He has been active in the Friday Word Game.

For those missing his BOB updates this one applies for the foreseeable future.

Conditions at the bottom of sugar bush south are elitist and butthurt. With a one hundred percent chance of it being cold as fuck, the upper crust at clay brook will likely be driving around town being douches while the vibe at north remains warm and friendly. The snow is white and fluffy, and you can be assured old CtFreeheel is out there more than you, scoring more pow than you, is shredding it as only a self-proclaimed Jedi could. Keeping himself well clear of the chaff, also known as the locals, the old free dog is surely Being Better There.....at the BOB.....with his choice beers, local meats, and hurt butt. Maybe catch up with him at his condo where when not whipping up meals for his Instagram feed, he'll be eyeing the slopes via high-end optics belittling the technique of those who clearly ski like shit as compared to himaelf, the master and his padawan learners.
    Happy New year!

Just a synopsis of every BOB report ever provided. One does not have to know anything specific about his whereabouts. Always the same.

Couple hours grooming this morning. Yup it s cold.

There's really zero risk except frostbite. It's not an actual DH, you're just skiing really fast (usually in small team groups) down a closed run all day on sub-191cm skis, and then they move the venue to a FLAT well-lit groomer from 5PM-end of the race. There aren't any drunk people out during the night -- it's too fucking cold for that. You're fatigued thru the night if you're going for the individual overall, but by then it's just autopilot on a flat groomer. Speaking from experience, there's more risk of sea(land?)sickness related slip-and-fall when you click out to go take a piss at 3AM than there is in a major crash. Or of falling off the end of the ramp when loading the lift like a total gaper ***COUGH***AntiSoCalSkier***COUGH***

Seriously though, it's a really good cause, and our roster is loaded with OG mags so please consider helping out!
