Totally agree, but as life expectancies rise, so has the age of free skiing.
I think it used to be 65 (or 70), as my depression era father was very excited about it. Then it went up to 70, 75 and now it's 90?!
Only problem is, if it were still 65, Alta would only make about $100/day.Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!

Winny stated the same a few years back about the growing numbers of 65+ skiers. I know a couple of people with these passes, they are quite happy skiing midweek. If I remember right it only goes up to $159 between May 9th and October.
Winny gives everyone, except for the 40-64 yo group, a discount.
Nice to see some action in the Whites by some mags. I watched part of the Empress video, but the shitty music playing over the sound of skiing made me stop. Muting didn't help.www.apriliaforum.com

there's a 91 year old local guy still running his own saw mill, solo, and still and making his own deliveries...
Flying down the road in the passenger seat with him driving and @ 8000 lbs of lumber in the back of the truck, I began to question my own mortality..
Hubert has the right idea...
Looking forward to the cheap deals...
BigD.. glad to see you reappear and sorry about your mom's recent passing

Just saw killington is offering unlimited, year round do everything pass for $99/month. Basically $1200 a year for all the skiing and biking and golf (if you’re into that kinda thing) you want. It’s not a bad idea.

Is Cannon still free midweek for 65+ NH residents. My old man uses that one, but got hip replacement this year and didn't go.

Are you f'ing kidding me? You're discussing how old you need to be to get deals at ski resorts....
Take a lap... punch yourselves in the dicks.... and wait in the car.
Didn't anyone get out and ski this week?
I did...
Anyone know what this is?

you'll register these deals in your spank bank because they appeared here...
the real point that's inadvertently being made is your physical life ain't over at 30 or 40 unless you let it...
I'll admit though, this thread could now use some major resuscitation..Last edited by EarlyWood; 04-28-2018 at 04:06 AM.
