We are Jewish and have a child. So she definitely doesn’t want me out of the house. Any advice on what conditions will be? Tomorrow seems to be ice from today’s rain and dropping temps. But will 3-6 inches on Sunday night put the conditions back to good?

    Oy Vey!

Let the road crew make things decent tonight and tomorrow, then let Hanukkah Harry freshen things up for you tomorrow night. You should be in business. L'chaim!

Meh, the rain made it 3D, the snice texture, and the sleet a stinging edge.

    My thoughts exactly.

The truck looks clean and the snowpack in the yard didn’t seem to sink at all from the rain. Win/win

As I stated earlier, THE SEASON IS OVER! Get your bike back out. No more turns this year. NONE.

Thanks again to Buttah for hooking me up! First time skinning. Went up one of the old T-bar lines at King Ridge this morning.

Chugged some coconut water before tail-gunning the Mad Hatter. Snow was a crusty mess.

I'm looking forward to more slogging around, but holy shit my hips are sore tonight. Map My Ride was set on treadmill, so I can't brag about the sub 1K of vert.

Mad Hatter, man that brings back memories. Spent a lot of time on that hill in the early-mid 70's. Awesome. I scored some minty-fresh Elan bumpers in the deal. Can't wait till May!

Classic park at the top hill. I took my hs gf there. That was the first and last time we skied together. And actually my first and last time ever skiing there.

Back in the 80's they were selling out regularly on the weekends. 45 minute lift lines were the norm. Sounds ridiculous now, but the place sure was fun as a kid.

dumping in lac st jean, hopefully some ropes drop at the local rock tomorrow. went for a classic ski at parc monts valin today and couldn’t get to the sweet chalet some miles in since canadian water doesn’t want to freeze despite it not breaking double digit temps since august or some shit up here. anyway, did a couple beginner loops on my new sticks and getting stoked to ride lifts now.

A long time ago, I was warned to watch out for Lac-St-Jean girls. Is what the border agent told me true?

Logged many 70's turns there, too... Was the first place I skied with a walkman and I still remember Black Water on a 12" bluebird day. One of the best. Thanks for the memories...

Got up to Tucks yesterday for the first outing of the year. Snowpack was too XXXtreme to get after any big terrain but was nice therapy being in the swirling snow again and a fun run down the Sherb.

Sounds like they got a rain crust on all the light snow they had, will be interesting to see what this next storm does to that.
