I forgot to add that the NYC Police firing range is across the harbor so if hearing thousands of rounds is annoying it's the fucking Bronx

Perfect in every way. Today might have been the best day of the year for cruising groomers at oh-key-moe. I went up for Innkeepers and was blown away by how good the hill was skiing. All the old folks who come in the shop around noon stayed past 2:00 today. Just. Exactly. Perfect.

^^ Same at Jiminy. Their only high speed lift was broken so the cord stayed fresh for the whole morning.
    K on Thursday. Let's party.

How did your shop do at the innkeepers? We got 2nd.

For having 0 experience racing outside of innkeepers last year, I’m pretty stoked- I came in 4th overall for the season and the last race I took 1st by almost a full second. Beat a few dudes who showed up in speed suits and plugs and I was in my regular work gear lol. No idea how that happened but I am pretty happy about that

It’s between us and Totem Pole. We won last year. We are racing again next week, not over yet. Really competitive league. Lots of gs suits and 30 meter race skis. Not my best year on the race hill, but still getting it done. I’m overturning everything. A second is a lot! Well done DW. How long is your course? Torin won today with a 33.92

It was a perfect evening to be up high. Not a lick of wind and the colors were spectacular. We skied a number of different snow consistencies on the descent, some were even pretty enjoyable!

    Great shot!
