    Now that the warmest October on record for most of New England is behind us, it is time for the pendulum to swing the other way releasing the hounds of winter!

    Even though the Mid-Atlantic may have received the first "decent" accumulation of the year, it is time for everyone to get in gear.

    I've just been itching to get this going. It has been so warm that the local ice rink has been cancelling hockey due to soft ice. First skate of the year for me is finally going to happen tonight!

    Seems like an appropriate day for it. The freezing altitude on Mt Washington dropped to useful levels (finally), and there’s ice and snow on the webcams. (New user so I guess I can’t post a link or image).

    Been lurking for 10 years, seemed an appropriate time to post. Thanks for all the stoke and nonsense over the years. Keeps it entertaining while we’re waiting for snow.

    Lots of blue on the weather maps today. Killington must be desperate to blow snow and get people out. Have not checked, but guessing skiing will be happening there soon.
