Beaut of a day yesterday, if not a little warm. East snowfields held some great corn with the breeze up there.

Anybody got a good site to read about forecasts for this weekend? Many mixed opinions I see...

Valinouet not openning, that is a surprise. I read their website that the decision is based on the forecasted rain plus didn't want to leave staff on stand-by.
Vallée Bleue has been consistently mentioned as old of the last to close in the Laurentians as they are mainly driver by the snow on the ground and not the calendar. If tiny natural snow Mont Chilly is a still a maybe then Vallée Bleue in the Laurentians' Snowbelt can be too. Huge disappointment with some big guys like Ste. Anne which advanced their fixed closing date, (still being at almost if not 100% open) by one weekend over last season and two weekends compared to a few seasons ago.

Nice jhyatt, and cat. Love days like that up there, so much positive energy. Hopefully the lower elevations hang on a bit longer but doubt it with this rain.
Saw the Magic e-mail as well, doing it right!

Did not read the fine print. Do you have to be a dentist?

Empress - really enjoyed watching that. You tore it up! Liked how you kept the flow going the whole time. I tried to imagine myself on Hojo's deck watching that go down. Most excellent!

Debating heading back up to the rockpile tomorrow to get some turns in between storms. Anyone else crazy/desperate enough to brave whatever the rain did to tux?
