    Trip has been booked.
I'll arrive in Hartford, CT in the evening on Dec. 31st and I'll return the morning of January 6th.
Looking forward to the adventure of exploring some new places.

Hope you get snow. It'll be hard to escape the hoards if not. What Mtns you planning to hit?
It's funny watching CtFreeHeel play the "Pickle, tickle, nickle" word game knowing he's abstaining here due to someone snaking his intardnet-line. You folks really take this shit way way too seriously.

How do you figure that? The weeks between Xmas and MLK are always slow. Perfect time to ski at the areas. And you already mentioned how the internet is serious bidness.

Since I have an Epic Pass and a Mountain Collective I plan to ski Stowe and Sugarbush for sure. I'm also open to other possibilities. It looks like I should be able to ski Granite Gorge on a 2 for 1 on my drive up on the 1st using my Mountain Playground Card.
If you look at my patchskiing TRs you'll see that I don't need a lot of snow to have fun. However, I do appreciate whenever Mother Nature is generous.

Maybe if you stop bringing it up like a school yard maturity waggle after having your first period, said stalwart will make his way around.

Seconded. Maybe he lands in the am and can squeeze in some afternoon turns? I could see that.

Otherwise Vet, there is plenty on your passes to keep you happy. Jay is also worthy of a day if you are willing to spend on a day ticket.

Depending on when his flight gets in, while making his way north, it maybe worth a stop for a couple hours on a mole hill to get used to the eastern hardpack (ice ).
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

I know I was scared shitless the first morning I skied Attitash. Narrow icy runs with hudge berms on the side that would likely launch you into the trees and dirt and rocks if you fell. And a million Joeys going Mach Looney. Small ski hills are cool.
