Back to work after 2 of the best EC days I can remember. Sore, tired and still grinning. Oh and it's still snowing - going on 72 hours straight.

Yea, that will happen after ~200folks go through da gates. I reckon if the point is to race, with real race skis, sure, inject that bad mammajamma.... but racing was never the point at whaleback anyways
Granted our team was earlier in the start order, but for my money, that was the best course I think I've ever skied there. Fast, grippy and [i]not[i] icy - helpful when yer racin with 108 underfoot skis

My '92 tsv rental reflex poles finally broke. I think I can revive them.

Plenty of skis seen headed north this am. It's gonna be a wee bit busy this wkend if you're riding lifts.

    Take them back...

Riding lifts at Stowe this weekend. Not my ideal time to ski, but how can anyone complain with these conditions?! Well worth the $1000 lift ticket.

Sorry to miss you, but enjoy and look forward to the Sasquatch reports. And definitely a session or two at Kalmus.

EAST COAST ROLL CALL - Turn it up to 11

First day at Pico for me, yesterday, it was so good. What a fun hill. I arrived at 1pm and it was dead, everyone was tired. Windbuff city. Soft, bottomless and slightly set up snow.

Another double paradise day yesterday, seemed like the Bush had better snow quality, tits deep in spots in the woods.

Hit the Bear Brook RASTA stuff on Wednesday, second time at Brandon Gap. Meh, think I'll just keep driving north next time. Cool idea but needs more thinning.

My wife is at Mt. Snow for a girls' ski weekend and she said today is "the busiest she's ever seen a ski resort." It took her 45 minutes just to park and its not even Saturday yet.

To those of you skiing this weekend......good luck.

It’s so good right now, but I’ll bet there STILL won’t be a liftline at Whaleback this weekend...

EAST COAST ROLL CALL - Turn it up to 11

Bromley’s east side trees were only lightly tread when I got there for lunch turns. Plenty of untracked turns and the northwest wind loaded them up deep!

    Edited for pic

Gotts to love it! Some super fun stuff. I'm just hoping they're gonna be open next week - really wanna spend some more time in those trees after work.

To whomever found my phone on castlerock this morning and brought it to lost and found, thank you very much. I lost it on my very first run and just assumed it was gone for good in all that snow.
