EAST COAST ROLL CALL - Turn it up to 11

They were all intermediate level buckets. The Lange, Nordicas and Tecnicas were very nice. The full tilts should be thrown in a dumpster.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

C’mon - his excitement of “skiing” Tux for the first time is infectious. At least he had cramps, an ice ax, what appears to be a harness, and all the other safety gear. Someone has to support growing the sport with purchases at the local EMS

with the advent of so much AI video, could the 'SLO-PRO' be far off?
it would take tentative and halting turns and convert footage into a fast and smooth run.

Little bits of everything, ice fog, wind hammered, styrofoam, pellets of frozen air, or perhaps the edibles linked me to the underworld. 4/20 pow.

here's a quote from a local gent, after saying the skiing was Jaypril sweet, he droped the bad news:
With high winds, and ice loading on Monday, Tram cables got all wrapped up again. Shades of what happened in Fall 2016. So no Tram, and with cables dangling down, no Bonnie or Metro either. I went to Jay Peak yesterday, with AT gear to skin up, but all access to upper mountain is blocked off.
There are concerns that the haul line may have flipped out of one of the carriages, that guide the haul line between the fixed cables. SO they won't even let you skin up under any area near the Tram, in case the cable drops to ground!
Here is a picture (cell phone quality) showing the haul cables almost touching the Bonnie bullwheel. You will need to zoom in on picture.

    Impressive for:

    1) impressive to have a slide (non wet) in the end of April in VERMONT!

    2) given the conditions and the fact you can feel the base layer skinning and booting everywhere.

    3) the base layer is easily accessible, a distinct color, and wind blown hummocks are very clear.

So, to those that were able to get snow to move, you royally fucked up and should probably take a an avy course, or move somewhere where only man made snow is the forecast.
