Walked up greeley hill yesterday morning. Got a later start than I wanted and the upper section was in the sun. Last 20 vertical was getting loose at around 730. Im not sure when baldy went but ol father sun cooks it quick this time o year!

Definately mixed bag of 5 turns in sublime blown in pow, 3 turns on weird warbally crust, then a zone on frozen chickenheads but its still the best mothers day skiing ive done in 2018!

Any recent Uintas reports? Thinking about heading up Mirror Lake Hwy this wknd, not sure how far you can drive right now or how the coverage is up there.

^ gotta make it out there for some turns before it goes

got in some night skiing at alta. raining pretty good at one point but the sun broke after 5:30. skinned/booted up stonecrusher but rain had smoothed out an unskied christmas tree so shifted plans. pretty fun turns on the board after 8. 30 minutes later would have been perfect.

only get to enjoy alta pre/post season but that place is pretty rad. spin it however you like but putting a tram up there would be a disgrace.

The uintas were serving up some fine grade A sweet corn this morning, but don't delay, supplies are limited and they are likely to sell out soon.

East face of bald mtn didn't go cleanly, spent the morning skiing west aspects off the Hayden ridge. I'd say there's about a week left of skiing to be had up there, was still able to ski to/from the hwy though.

^^ that place is just killer. have a greater appreciation for these shots after seeing lines like these and so many other potential lines when its filled in. so many questions and so much to learn. friend had to interview someone at solitude at 3 so only had until 1. pair of laps at murdock at 8:30 and 9. super smooth spring corn. felt like cheating on the up as its easily accessed from a bend in the road. started exploring after that

back before 3 and still had 3 hrs before everyone would be home so after a few beers with his roommate, got the bright idea of hitting the cirque. road was dug up all the way up to black jack entry, lots of water. well over 2 hour slog to the tram. cirque was decent, variable turns on the descent in the middle but some fun bumps down low off chips face. of course today you can buy $15 tickets and sign a waiver and take the tram. bastards : )

Escaped valley rain and headed to Uintas with Mountaineers on Hayden as the objective. Really thin on that side of the pass. Parked at the turnout scoped the cooley hey sure is a bunch of choclate chips in it. Then visible rockfall reminded me the brain bucket was at home. Turned around and did Murdock. Not quite enough sun to get it soft but it was still titties. Came down at 900 just as thunderstorms rolled in. Get it while you can its going fast.

    ^^^Nice dude!^^^^

Skied the east face of Watson yesterday. I was able to walk to/from cliff lake and able to drive all the way to the Crystal lake th. it's going fast up there for sure. Might have been my last day of skiing in Utah for the season, but we'll see....

Not sure why the 6-6 date. Putting the passes on sale in April as opposed to late August as in previous years was to have them out there when Ikon, Epic, MC etc were available. When does Epic go up in price?

Alta facebook page is getting lit up! Sure plenty of dentists ski there but it is blue collar with families with bills, kids and budgets. Im still pissed at Brighton for their early pass price bumb bullshit but Alta is giving their peeps less heads up.

BTW does anyone know how to get ahold of season pass sales at Brighton? My pass payment got dicked up and I have been calling and emailing with no response. I guess I could use it as an excuse to do a crest lap since its clear and just drive up there but is anyone even there now?
