Huge steeze penalty, especially in Park City. The teenagers won't even let me near the park if they see my actual old man face.

Vantage and I/O7 which is what I've had forever... (I/O before the 7s)...

I'd like a more protective helmet (better than Smith's recycled straws) with some kinda MIPS, but I don't want to sacrifice breath-ability or weight to get it. Also, it has to fit

Smith has the Vantage in MIPS now, in case you weren't aware. $30 MSRP more than the standard Vantage.

I also have Vantage and IO/7 as well as some older IO's.

Yeah, I believe they started using it in 2015. That's when I bought mine with MIPS.

Marker Phoenix MAP + Giro Axis

Going to give this set-up a try this year. Marker seems to be a better helmet than the Giro that I have now. Giros new Vivid lens is sweet and the Axis fits my face better than anything I have every worn so far.

Same as last year... Smith i/o goggles and Smith Variance MIPs helmet. I did pick up a chromapop lens on closeout for this season.

I like how the Smith gear fits together nicely.

I didn't wear a helmet at all last year and it was WONDERFUL.

That said, I'll probably upgrade and wear one this season for obvious reasons. Hate my current one.

Same here. Only thing is my sunny day lenses have started peeling on the outer layer... which is kind of a bummer after 2 1/2 seasons. I love them otherwise though and the ease of switching lenses is a big deal for me (I hate screwing around with the Smiths).

Not sure what yo mean by "screwing around with smiths". Personally I think they are super easy and fast. It's take like 5 seconds to replace them. I only replace them depending on the day though, rarely do I swap out during the day, unless I am running the yellow sensor and it clears up and goes bluebird, then I have to change as the yellow allows way to much light and kills my eyes in full sun light.

Compared to the Anon M2's it's a hassle.

I have 5 solid years of the following

    Bern Baker
Oakley Airbrake with a quiver of Prizm lenses

I may get a new Bern Baker as this one has some mileage and bumps/bruises.

Oakley Airbrake prizms - the magic has already been documented, I believe.

I sprung for the Giro Range MIPS helmet last season; It is NOT the best looking dome device out there, however, the fit system is next level. Actually it's the level after the next level. If you have trouble finding a helmet that sizes to you, check this one out. With a spin of the dial, the entire outer shell expands or contracts. Roll-cage fitting is fine - but when the whole system is snug, it's Christmas. I would endorse them adding this to their bike helmets too... there's gotta be a way.

    Bonus 19th Century cowboy steez.

Yes. Fit is great. Not annoyingly big, but plenty big. Tahoe even undersold the lens change simplicity. Any time you're not in full send mode, a lens swap, in motion, with gloved hands is a 20 second proposition from start to finish.

I bought some iox goggles from steep and cheap and hate the gap on my giro and bern helmet... guess it would be safe to go with a Smith helmet but, any others that integrate?

Giro Seam, Giro Onset. Sometimes Dragon d3.

The Seam has a most awesome feature: a forehead vent, designed to suck air up through the goggles as you ski, clearing up any fog. In very cold weather it can give you an ice cream headache, but nothing a beanie doesn't easily fix (Turtle Fur work best for me). Also fits my oval head really well.
