After using several brands over the years, I’ve come to regard Oakley Prizm as the best for everything but night. Canopy with Prizm blue and Line Miner Inferno with the high pink one for dark stormy and wet PNW days. Used to use smith sensor blue but the fog so damn always.

Helmet - whatever fits your dome piece

    Smith vantage. Anon m2. Dialed.

Best part was that both were on 50+% off clearance last summer.

I really really like my electric eg2 goggles. Big frame, awesome POV, lenses don’t seem to easily scratch or fog and they can be found on the cheap. Might not work for people with small heads/brains

    Yep.
Been on this set-up for a few seasons.
Where did you fins the Anon sale?
I found a great sale at Freeze Pro Shop across the pond, but they won't ship Anon to the US since Burton purchased Anon?\
I bought Anon from Freeze prior to said purchase.

Giro 9 helmet and 10 year old Smith Prophecy fan goggles. Got sweaty eyeballs, need the fan in prit near all conditions. Goggles came with the blue sensor lens; not dark enough for bright days but I just shove a gray sportshield lens in the goggles on bluebird spring days. Seems to work.

Steepandcheap.com. got mine there for around $100. Blackout lens and a low light yellowish lens included. I've never seen that deal come up again, though.

You make it sound like it's a thing...like which pumps to wear with your capris.

Put on a fucking helmet and grab which ever goggles are least scratched. Just make sure they are the red ones.

I've been meaning to update my helmet and goggles for years now but I always blow my ski budget on new skis instead, this year included.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

    Same here.

Original Smith I/Os with Chromapop lens upgrade, Smith Vantage helmet. But all this Vantage + Anon M2 love has me curious. Occasionally the original I/O field of vision is a touch smaller than I'd like, wondering how the frameless M2 would compare

I only wear my helmet about 40% of the time but when I do I wear the Smith Vantage since it fits my head best along with the io7 goggles since they also fit my face the best.

Giro 9 (hate everything about it but the perfect fit for my head) + M2 (red solex + blue lagoon for most any pnw day).

Dig the Smith look and features, but doesn't fit quite as well.
