    A very un-TGR ski boot

    SOLD
Head challenger 130, 297 BSL din soles

    Alpine boot with touring mode

Ridiculous amount of features - adjustable last width, walk mode, booster strap, spine flex buckles

Selling because I bought as a touring boot and I don’t like the way it skis (too soft fore aft for me without cranking them )and fit (too roomy) and they are heavy with the stock liners. Considerably lighter when I used my intuitions, but those are LV. not a light boot.

Maybe a good option for an intermediate- advanced skier, lighter skier, teenager not on the junior FWT, ladies boot etc

$ 40 + ship or local pickup in Boston / NE meet up

Where is the volume you don't like? What's the instep width?

    A very un-TGR ski boot

Coming from a Scott GR fr130 and Nordica patron pro (murder black) with tons of bootfitting done to them, the instep felt loose and my toes didn’t feel very locked in, in comparison. I just picked up an old school garmont endorphin which feels much tighter overall, much more in line with what I’m used to. But compared to those other boots they still feel comfortable.

With the stock liner in these heads I had less of these fit issues, but I was trying to use my intuitions to save weight and add stiffness.

Last Width adjusts 98-100, maybe up to 102. Instep width I would describe as medium

But I’d have tried harder to make it all work if I liked the way they flexed fore-aft. I’m sure I’ll hate that as well about the Garmonts, coming from those alpine ski boots, which both rage in my opinion.
