...but I can’t get Pivots in at 306...

Shit... I’d have to fill the holes with dowels and sand them down, I’d ruin these. I PMd Norseman to get them, but I’m going to have to pass...

Good lord that build is perfection for that ski! Thinking about it more, I don’t think I could fit a 326 Pivot in there either? Steal of a deal! Some mag get some!!!

Santa also has one of the first pair of SND's that Keith ever made. As you can tell from the age of the snowboarder, this is an older pic of Santa and his elves.

You keep fishing all over the place for skis. But, if you are interested in Praxis models, good deals going on now (as I pointed out in another thread sometime back)

PRAXIS JUNKIES WHAT MODELS DO YOU OWN

I have some 194cm Praxis Freerides with 1.5 mounts in excellent condition. Prism top sheet. Trying to decide if I’m going to mount them up and charge some runs at Big Sky with them ... they are BIG.

If anyone is looking for this exact ski, send me a PM... I may consider selling.

I also have 187 Protests I’m excited to ski this year. Considering putting Beast 16s on them for a BBowl slackcountry touring rig.

Finally, I sold my 187 carbon GPOs last year, and it was a heartbreaker, but I needed cash, plus they were mounted with Vipecs and had little room for remounts. Would enjoy a new set of GPOs to put a different tech binder on. Best pow touring rig!

Any idea if it would be possible to squeeze in any mount point around a 320 on those RX's near the recommended line? Not picky on bindings.... I admittedly know very little about binding patterns/etc... Looking for some guidance.

Pretty sure it'd be easy. Maybe use a set of PX 12/14/15/18, which reuses the toe holes and has a much wider heel pattern.

I have some PX14 that I need to sell anyway. I'll lay out the mount tonight and get a more concrete answer.

This thread made me realize I have a problem. Or that I fit right in with you wierdos.

    188 protests
    187 GPO

All wood and fiberglass because Um a real man.

My snowboard is a K2 and my split is a jones that sucks CO2 out of the air every step I take so I'm not a total praxis dork.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Last clutter post here before a dedicated FS thread goes up...

PX would work for 310mm BSL and up, using existing toe holes.

Forward holes for PX heel are 2-3 cm behind the rear holes for Pivot heel, using a 316mm BSL boot for rough estimation and the toe pieces on the old holes.

I'll throw in these PX14 with the skis if that helps. Both toes need new AFD strips glued in. Thin cuttingboard would work ok.

I had an awesome 5 days in Steamboat on the Qs, everything from no snow to over head blower. I grabbed them at home to ski in Granite and had a Tabke moment, blew up, a ski came off, and I was pissed. 95% awesome, 5% going to kill me. I did start a discussion with Keith about building a pair of flat/rocker Qs, because I feel like that would keep the tips from ever catching and maybe remove the 5% kill you. Just a thought in my head.

I’ve got the following Praxis for now. The Praxis wishlist is pretty short and specific, maybe once we learn the new Praxis plan I’ll try to order them.
    Attachment 296425

    Left:
Praxis Super Freerides - 195cm, +10mm build, enduro core with carbon, 4 flex, Max top sheet on cherry veneer

    Right:
Praxis Protest - 196cm, enduro core with carbon, 4 flex, Tsunami top sheet on white oak

    Wish list:
    200cm Praxis Powboards
    194cm Praxis Quixote’s built fully rocker/flat

Before mounting the Lhasa check the mount line, it was moved up, not Keiths doing per our conversation. Make sure to compare with your old ones if you liked that location.
