Not exactly the frozen form of precip we seek. Short, but very intense, hail storm in Meyers. Had to throw the truck in 4 wheel coming over Luther.

Lightening has been a problem and caused some early-ish closures several days this week.

Also went to Mammoth. Pic from Wednesday:

Just got down off of Andesite. Light rain on and off. Definitely no new snow.

If you start from the meadow on 431 where all the snowmobilers are, how much do you have to walk on dirt?

I was thinking of going to relay peak, dropping ok the other side, the hiking up the chutes you see west of there.

Did you look at Carson pass, crescent Moon?
Any idea how much walking on dirt before you can start skinning?

    Tempted.
Just came from Mt Adams, skied it twice, great conditions.

Arrested? Is there a law against it? No wonder the Euros think we’re such pussies...

(To clarify, I think it was a dumb stunt, but not arrest worthy. Ban worthy for sure though)

Tamarack was a mess by the time I got to it on Sun, but still managed 5 wet-slidy laps. Guerrilla skiing back to road.

Well he will probably be banned for life, don’t know about arrested. Heard he ran like a little bitch when the cops were called, can’t take the heat I guess. What is the saying, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.

I’m pretty sure running from the cops will work. They have a hard time determining who you are just based on a season pass.

Being banned for life is a bit heavy. Two years would suffice to send a message.

Not gonna show the clip to my son, who would get ideas from it.

Ah, so cops come to simply escort him off the premises, then he runs and it turns into an arrest. Not smart.
