Boot size 28 - 28.5. Looking for tech bindings and boots with tech toe/heel places. I am on a budget.

I have a pair if practically new Maestrale RS boots. Bought last year, skied for an hour or so and decided they were too small. Boots are 28s.

I am considering hopping on the hawx bandwagon and selling my 1st gen la sportiva spectres in a 28.5 with a big forefoot width punch for ~$150. If I sell these then I have to go buy new boots, located in Seattle and I need to try on the atomics first.
