Stevens Pass October 14, 2017
It is safe to assume now that my Nordica Enforcers are now my rock skis for those early season conditions. Deciding to get some skiing in and risk not getting at least one day during the month of October, I decided to see what Stevens Pass had to offer from some of the recent snowfall we had this past week. The bottom 800 vertical feet was nothing more than a few inches on top of rocks, shrubs, dirt, and road. The top 400 vertical feet provided some turns on about 12-15" of fresh snow that was a little kept somewhat dry do to the cool light winds.

Rather than start a new thread about skiing the same area, here is an update video. Another big storm or so and this area could LITERALLY, open! There were quite a few other people earlier in the day building jumps and sliding rails.

And just like that Stevens is open. My birthday is November 20th and I love when I can start celebrating it on snow early
