I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

I wondered if there is relevant info in the S/N? I am pretty sure the S/N of my red lotus 120's say that they are 2011's

    Whoa!
    Are those unmounted?
    Flex 3?
    Sexy.
Probably not $500 sexy though (talk 'em down).

Looks like either Rocker 0 or 1.
I think Rocker 0 had a narrower tip than Rocker 1 (that tip looks narrow [/shrug].
And I think rocker 0 was less pronounced than rocker 1 (both not very clown shoe like).

Yah tips were really narrow. They had purple spoon 138 last season but only 182. Always wanted to compare to my toons. I got spoon 124 pure last year and they are fun but not totally surfy.

Other way around. R1 has quite a bit more rocker than 0, but not nearly as much as 3.0/3.1/3.2. Believe R2 has R1 tips but flatter tails.

Here's an interesting never-seen-before DPS model, ran across this photo of a pair of hybrids for sale online.

have a buddy with the lotus 124 spoons. he's not totally stoked on the skis...sez turn intiation is a bit combuersome...what mount point did you use and what's your feeling on turn initiation..particularly in the trees?

Haven't checked out his mount, but suspecting he's a bit back.

If they are the 191s they may have a slightly different tip shape which would make them a bit more powerful, but a bit more difficult to pivot. Or yeah, they are mounted back.

Mine are on the line just like 138. Easy to ski there and float is good. 138 needed more snow like 3-4 feet. In a foot it was just ok.

I've owned my 138s for many seasons but have only put four days on my them; but they were four good days.
    4 feet in 4 days.
Needed more vert though (Monarch doesn't have a bunch of vertical; decent pitch).

I've had versions of the 138 for years, and they're still my go to pow ski for anything above 10" of fresh. Just so much fun.

I would want a more versatile pow ski for places with long groomer runout or long sections of crud to get back to the lift, if it's not a big day (agree on wanting 18"+ for that type of ski area - say, Snowbird or Jackson). Full reverse camber beats me up too much on conditions like that. The DPS RPC works pretty well for me for that, and I recently picked up some Blizzard Spurs to see if they're more floaty than the RPC but still somewhat versatile. Don't know yet on that.
