Yeah but Collinsworth has that raspy whiskey voice. FWIW, he spells his first name "Cris."

I’m not a Tony Romo fan.
    I loved Peyton Manning.
(not so much of his brother which’s unfortunate being a Giants fan)

He just seemed to see things a good QB can see ahead of time.
    His prediction was spot on.

I’m amazed Rex Ryan still has a place to go.

    Devil's advocate here:

Could he have just meant, speaking from the perspective that, the women he knows are not interested enough in football (or that knowledgeable about the sport) to ask a question regarding routes?

If only he'd said "It's funny [and refreshing] to hear a female talk about routes"

Well at least he didn't ask to see her tits.

Now the full smear campaign goes to work...

"Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue apologized Thursday for tweets with racist overtones from four-plus years ago. One of the four since-deleted tweets contained a racial slur."

We'll see whether 2 of a kind with a racism card, beats 2 of a kind with a sexism card.

Yeah, the intent matters. A boneheaded thing to say for the fact that even raises questions but being interviewed by a female reporter who has an understanding of nuanced football can't be that common even today. (And that's not a slight.) I think where he fucked up was not acknowledging she felt disrespected and killing the issue right there.

No white woman should have to take that from a black man.

As a white man I automatically assume whatever I say is racist and sexist. however, I am fascinated on the new playing field with the pantheon of disenfranchised people who gets a pass. Black man quarterback vs women sports reporter with a hispanic head coach. Let the bashing begin as people more easily offended then me try to sort it out.
I mean really, rules like poker need to be made up.
He was being stupid and rude and he should apologize.
If he had prior beef with her racist comments he should have said so.

Stupid black guy. Routes are what someone said about traversing a mountain pass, or going on a cross city or cross country road trip.

Patterns or plays is what's run in football. 'Dinthinkmuch' in his press conference simply made hisself look more ignorant than he actually is. (Not much of a spokesperson for a fellow Newton Isaac either.)

We know it wasn't in the version in his head, that's for sure.
