    Adrift on Memory Bliss

Careless whisper from a careless man. A neutron dance for a neutron fan
Marionette strings are dangerous things. I thought of all the trouble they bring, an eye for an eye, a spy for a spy. Rubber bands expand in a frustrating sigh. Tell me that she's not dreaming. She's got an ace in the hole. It doesn't have meaning. Reality used to be a friend of mine 'cause complete control, I don't take too kind. Christina Applegate, you gotta put me on guess who's piece of the cake with Jack gone?
She broke her wishbone and wished for a sign, I told her whispers in my heart were fine. What did she think she could do?
I feel for her, I really do. And I stared at the ring finger on her hand
I wanted her to be a big P.M. Dawn fan but I had to put her right back with the rest. That's the way it goes, I guess.

Consider me Rick-rolled. That melody is now stuck in my head.

Ha. I got rickrolled by my own post.

Youtube pops this up after PM Dawn.

Now I have the groove from OPP stuck in my head.

^ Have to finish it later but thanks for that.

Music from the '90s holds up incredibly well.

I just wish my hair did the same. Ah, to be in my 20's again.

And for the non-hearing impaired: https://genius.com/Storm-king-adrift-lyrics

Richard Cheese needs to do a lounge version.

    The infinite symphony of dread
Lost in a sea of discontent
Can you tell me what it's worth
To be born unto this Earth
    Tangled in uncertainty
    Self rejection and disbelief
Doubt reigns down through the air
    Sought faith that wasn't there
    I still feel nothing
    The infinite symphony of dread
Lost in a sea of discontent
Can you tell me what it's worth
To be born unto this Earth
I could stop the world for you
    Show you my solitude
    What else could we do?
Cast our souls back to the sea
    Conspire against ourselves
    The structure's wrought with flaws
    Bring it down around us
We bring it down around us all
    Truth be told I'm tired
    Of unspoken words pushed aside
    Drowning in this atmosphere
    And choking on it's disdain
While broken hope washes up with the waves
    I have lost my way
    I see hydraulic turtles.

Agreed. We’ve got a pretty good 90s music thread in the PR somewhere.

Heard it emanating from a passing car tonight while walking the dog.

You gotta be fucking kidding me.

Ok, I clicked on the link because the lyrics were so familiar. P.M. Dawn was the first concert I went to in Salinas, CA in 1991 or 1992. I saw them again at grad night at Disneyland. Beastie Boys was the second concert I attended, which blew away PM Dawn.

Gerome, I like your gorilla suit.
I went to a Beastie Boy concert once as well. They had a giant inflatable penis on stage and were blowing white confetti into the crowd out of it.

I'm trying to recall what inspired me to start this thread.
For the life of me I can't recall.
