Not dust. We're burning it.
Even with all the beetle kills in the Sierra, apparently, the the dead pines still have some market value. My neighbor just had a small dead grove harvested. Been dead for two summers. I think it's a break even equation for the property owner if you have enough trees. His full sized logs filled three trucks.

I cried like a baby tonight, with the news of Last Vegas and Tom Petty yesterday, add to that my mother in law passed away about 3 hours ago.

Got dirt under my fingernails changing the oil and plugs on the wife’s car.
I’m not cleaning them.

No offense taken. As a former carpenter/business owner who sold a millwork company that installed millwork in thousands of homes in the Southeast from Charlotte to Charleston from the 90's to mid 2000's and retired , I can assure most if not all wood in the southeast has been painted white. Fits with the style of home. Outside of libraries or formal rooms.
So therefore my home has both painted and stained wood.
I also spend enough time in other areas of the country to know that is not always the preferred style.
It is what it is.

On mountain bike today I blew a snot rocket on my shorts.
On way home after ride, stopped at local organic vegan fair trade hippy mart for a sammich
Cashier lady(*) told me I had snot in my mustache
I wiped it clean with my shirt.
(*) NW-Skier would most likely want to be this lady's next poor decision...

I picked up extremely heavy weights and put them back down without hurting anyone.
now, the infamous paula poundstone would tell you I am just indecisive; but I think it's still a manly way of being indecisive.TGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !

i was in rehab with several people who had both done at once when i had mine done. i was shocked to be told that is apparently preferred by the surgeons if possible rather than staggered because of the trauma to the body between the surgeries and the meds. and then i was grateful to have one good leg to deal with one traumatized leg.
good luck to your wife and good job!
