Spent a LOT of time reworking the tallbike over the last few days. 12 hours today. Most of the day and night friday...

I bought a chrome Ross and incorporated it. Bike’s getting really complicated and heavy, but it’s hilarious and fun.

I get injured when I fall of regular bikes. Those tall bikes scare me.

It works pretty well. Taller bars coming in the mail soon, may give it better brakes or indexed 9 speed or something, but for the most part it’s good to go. Brought 12 sodas and 12 beers back from the store with zero issue just now. Good times

Edit: feeling good about the extended wheelbase and the slacker head tube angle it produced. Bike is so stable. Gearing is finally pretty dialed. I don’t even know what to call it because it steps down twice so it’s hard to calculate. First it goes 30-48 on the primary side then 42-[12-36 7spd] on the final drive. It’s slow and stable enough to confidently ride at walking speed in a crowded space, which is nice.

Awesome. Riding something like that at your size sounds terrifying.
