    Volie CRB binding question

I have an old(low riser) version of the CRB and also the newer(high riser) version.

Was the purpose to get the tele clamp wings higher up off the snow or was there something else?

I plan to reuse one set or the other for a teleAThybrd tour 4turns rig on a waxless set of Annoms.

The riser sets are much newer and barely used. The low riser was rode hard and put away wet many times.

If I recall correctly, that was part of the re-design to aid in reducing pre-releases. The newer versions were much better in that regard, especially with plastic boots.

Higher rise meant fewer wing outs and pre-releases.

When higher are they more active for turns and when lower easier for touring?

Neither is a pinnacle of performance.
Use the ones less likely to break.
