Update with those fancy pocs - they're pretty tight. In pearl izumi i wear a large, these are XL and fit more snugly, but have longer fingers. Hopefully they settle in a bit.

    TemRes gloves

Ugly as all hell but surprisingly durable and functional.

Temres Atlas 282. 20 bucks on amazon. not crazy warm and they do get wet inside eventually but feel dry because of the pile liner. Popular in the ice climbing community. I wear them over my 100+ dollar gloves from major manufacturers.

FTP can suck an egg. I sent 2pr of MTB gloves back because the stitching was coming undone after only a few rides, they didn't replace them. In fact, they didn't even give the courtesy of a reply when I sent a follow up note.

I personally like padded gloves which are becoming increasingly hard to find.

I've been using the giro bravo for a few years now. Also tried the fox ranger gels which fell apart on my first ride..... the giro Bravo's only last a season but they're cheap so I think it's expected. Overall, I like the giro's. Would be nice to find some gloves that last longer but haven't found em yet so.....

If you pay $15-30 for a pair of gloves, how long do you realistically expect them to last?

My Dakine Cross X’s last around 2 years - 2500 miles.
