    Hamilton tickets at the Paramount?

Perhaps a long shot for this board, and even more so with the demand, but does anyone have a line on Hamilton tickets in Seattle?

It would be nice to avoid $1,500 for two tickets sitting at the periphery of the mezzanine.

a bit over $700 for tickets in the last row of the back corner section of the mezzanine. A single ticket on the floor, all the way to the outside, is over $1000. Kind of crazy.

    Jesus.
    That’s insane.

Just checked the price in NYC.
It’s about $500 in the middle of Orchestra section mid week.
    Should just come to NYC.

Yeah I saw it and agree. "Dear Evan Hanson" was 20x better.

To be fair, I haven't enjoyed a musical since "Oklahoma" and "Annie," and I was about eight when I saw those.

OTOH I always enjoyed the music from "Hair."

Musicals--earth's lowest (and awfulest) form of entertainment.

Also, my kids wouldn't stop singing that Hamilton shit for about 14 months a few years ago, so that pissed me off as well.

I’m not a big fan of musical, either.
I tried Mamma Mia on Broadway and barely made through first half.

Lin-Manuel was great on Sesame Street.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Yeah, but I bet you can get tickets to Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds for a whole lot cheaper.

Disagree that its overrated. We saw it in NYC with Munoz and paid through the nose for it, but it was outstanding. The show is really the star; it depends less on the strength of a particular actor less than a lot of other shows.

lady in my life knows every damn word. I was hoping to surprise her with tickets for festivus but am starting to agree with Uncle Bob and saving my $$ for where it can be better spent.

I'll be there sometime in May/June next spring with my best friend. He's an artist who has traveled all over the world for the cause but never made it back east. Looking forward to seeing you, T.

the righteous cause, where you get the uni/art department to pay for your travel to study and build wood kilns. It doesn't hurt that the ceramics faculty at MSU is well known within the community.

Another friend has had all-expenses-paid trips to Taiwan, South Korea, Brazil, and Cuba just in the past year.

Maybe I should have someone apply for a cultural grant for my Hamilton tickets.

Huh, not sure this is quite up the same alley but you ever hear of Chris Gustin/Gustin Ceramics and the Anagama kin in Dartmouth Mass.? That's right near us, like 3 miles away. A firing has to be coming up pretty soon, the website is woefully out of date though.
